A man of integrity and honour. A generous, good hearted and knowledgeable man. One of the last real representatives of Motobu –Ha Shito – Ryu and Soke Kuniba Shogo has left his human body to follow the destiny of his karma.

After his death, the world of karate become very empty. The tree of traditional karate has lost one of its last and strongest roots and one more page of history is turned, but the spirit and the memory of Soke Minamide remain forever inside us.

Soke fought with the same bravery He always show in Kumite or any fight against is last foe, a terrible cancer illness. Soke was training and teaching to the last moment in his to short life.

A great loss for the family, all the friends, the shihans, all the members of Renseikai and the whole world of karate.

One of the last pages of the book containing the Seishinkais karate tradition and techniques has turned forever.
